Ingredient list

1/2 pound butter
1 1/2 cup white sugar
2 cups all purpose flour
5 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions

Cream butter and sugar well. Add eggs one at a time beating after each egg. Add flour in three parts beating after each addition til mixed well.

Bake 350 for 1 hour
